Hi @KOUBBA Zakaria,
do you mean in general or for a specific exam? (you added DF tag)
Training is usually easy to complete - be it a eLearning, knowledge check, video, or simulator - so to complete it, just follow the instructions given there.
Or do you mean any exam, if so, which one? To prepare for any of the above, I recommend to use the official materials just and only and discourage you from using dumps and flashcards/quizlets that only god knows where they come from :))

“The best practice is to watch the video content until the end so it is marked as completed. Complete the knowledge checks, as they help you understand the type of questions that may appear in the exam. Also, carefully read and complete the labs, because exam questions can come directly from the labs themselves.

Hi @KOUBBA Zakaria ,
Here are some best practices to complete ServiceNow trainings effectively:
Set a learning schedule – Spend at least 1–2 hours a day or a few days each week just for learning. Consistency matters more than long sessions.
Start with your role path – Follow the learning path related to your current role (e.g., ServiceNow Developer, Administrator, or Implementer) on Now Learning instead of jumping between topics.
Learn by doing – Don’t just watch the videos. Practice every lab or exercise directly on a personal developer instance. That’s where real learning happens.
Take notes & bookmark – Keep short notes of key concepts and bookmark useful modules to revisit quickly before interviews or projects.
Relate it to real work – Try to connect each topic with your project or task in your ServiceNow instance. This makes it easier to remember.
Join community discussions – Check the ServiceNow Community for questions on the same topic. You’ll learn a lot from real issues and solutions.
Review & recap – At the end of each week, quickly go over what you learned to reinforce it.
Take certifications step by step – Don’t rush. Finish the learning path, practice in an instance, then go for the certification exam.

When it comes to completing trainings effectively, I’ve found it really helpful to leverage the official ServiceNow resources available across the platform. A few that stand out:
- Now Learning Portal – This is the central hub for all ServiceNow trainings, certifications, and learning paths. You can track your progress, enroll in role-based courses, and even earn badges.
- On‑Demand Videos & Hands‑On Labs – Great for self‑paced learning. The labs let you practice in a safe environment without worrying about breaking anything in production.
- Certification Prep Resources – ServiceNow provides study guides, ebook and community discussions to help prepare for exams like CSA, CAD, and CIS.
- Community Forums – Engaging here is invaluable. You can ask questions, share insights, and learn from real-world experiences of other practitioners.
- 📖 Documentation & Product Docs – The official docs are detailed and constantly updated. Pairing them with training modules helps reinforce concepts.
- 🔄 Release Notes & Blogs – Staying current with new features ensures your training aligns with the latest platform capabilities.
💡 Best practice tip: combine structured learning (via Now Learning) with community engagement and hands‑on labs. That way, you not only complete the modules but also retain and apply the knowledge in real scenarios.
