Cannot delete CI records

I previously created an extended table for CI and created records in it.

The table is no longer needed, so I deleted it, but the records remain in the parent CI table and cannot be deleted.

I have tried background scripts, but can you please tell me the cause and how to delete it?

The Class field has the value "label".

If you have not deleted the records before deleting the table, then it is better to raise a hi-ticket asking ServiceNow to assist

Hi @Saeka ,

You can use the CI Class Manager to delete CIs that are no longer needed.

  1. Navigate to All > Configuration > CI Class Manager.
  2. Click Hierarchy to expand the CI Classes list and then select the class from which you want to delete CI records.
  3. In the class navigation bar on the left, click CI List.
  4. On the CI List form view, select the CIs that you want to delete.
Select the check box in the header to select all the CIs that are visible.
  5. Click Actions on selected rows and then click Delete.
  6. Click Delete in the Confirmation dialog box.

Thank you for your reply.

I tried the method you gave me but could not delete the record.

Hi, did you delete records from the table before deleting the table itself?

This is a requirement of ServiceNow.

Hope it helps
