Change Configuration items Class

Hi all,

 

I have a few configuration items that were incorrectly assigned to a class in ServiceNow. I need to re-assign these CIs to the correct class but I also do not want to lose the incidents, change, requests associated with these CIs and the previous class in ServiceNow. 

 

Can you please help me with the best practices and how this can be done without any issues.

You can change the class from the list view

The CI will keep the same sys_id, so you will not lose any relationships. I tested in my sub-prod but obviously do your own testing as well.
