Hi, I am new to SN and trying to work through lots of bad asset/ci data that was imported. I am struggling to understand what happens after: CMDB Data Manager Attestation tasks.
For example, i have created a task to list a number of computers that have not be discovered in 60days. In the task i reject themm then hit submit.
What next?
How are these cleaned from the CMDB and also their associtated assets etc?
Thanks

Hi,
Do you know if there is any OOB solution if CIs are rejected as part of CMDB attestation task? I don't think any action being performed on CI level ? Did you create any logic to show this rejection? If yes , can you please let me know . I also have similar kind of requirement

Thankyou for those links.
They do explain how to setup the attestation task, but not what to do after they have been attested (either accepted or rejected). I can not find any information on what to do after they are rejected. Similarly i can not see to create a CMDB remediation rule that looks for any rejected attestation, the fields do not appear to be options to filter on.
I am new to SN, and unsure how to clean up old computers that have been discovered and now no longer active.

Hi @dmorgan_isc
Sometime information is not fully available, in that case, follow hit & Trial. Activate the plugin in PDI and test and see the action.
Good Luck mate and really sorry not much helpful.
