CMDB Service Mapping - No approval button when "Send for review"

We are on Vancouver version. After creating a service map and sending it to the application owner for review and approval, the owner does not see the Approve button. How do we add the required permissions?

The sm_app_owner is the role to assign to Application Service owner.

Hi Niklas,

I was able to follow the document to create a Service Group and add the Application Service, then added the Service Group to a new Service Group Responsibilities with a sm_app_owner role. Not sure how to assign these groups to the application owner to approve.

Hi,

Not sure with the Service Group and responsibilities you used there... but sm_app_owner  is just a role as any other. Best practise tells us to assign roles to users using groups. So you just have to make sure that sm_app_owner  is connected to a group that is assigned to the users that are Application owners.

Thank you Niklas, your solution seems to be enough to give an application owner permissions to approve their application. But, by assigning them the sm_app_owner role, they are able to see and approve any Service Map. Using the Service Group and Responsibility Groups it can be setup to limit the access, but we would have to add all the service maps to multiple Service Groups for each department and application owner before the permissions will work properly.
