Custom data source or scheduled data import for Service Graph Connector for SCCM/Intune

I have installed Service graph connector for sccm and intune in my client dev instance. I noticed the intune connector feeds data to computer, software and other tables. I need intune to feed data to cmdb_ci_comm (Communication Devices) tables. We are aware that Intune currently stores all the relevant data, but there no OOB data source or import schedule created.

Wanted to check if we can create a custom data source, import schedule and robust transform map for Communication Device table. If we can, is it a best practice to do?

Will there be any repercussions on doing such customization?

If not, what is the next best alternative?

Any input/help/documentation will be really helpfull.

Hi,

The SG connector is having a restriction. The following link will represent the table and target tbls in CMDB

https://docs.servicenow.com/en-US/bundle/utah-servicenow-platform/page/product/configuration-managem...

If additional table needs to fill in from intune source, you can achieve through custom scripts. Pls refer below link to create script

You need to create a data source for the additional table and do the mapping in ServiceNow. Once data source is their you can create mapping via IH ETL
