HI All,
I have a question on using the data certification, I have 2 fields on the form field 1 as Yes or No and Field 2 is dependent on the value of Field 1 as Yes, if field 1 is No we dont need the field 2. But while using this as a data certification to certify these 2 fields to be certified that are dependent can we handle the certification based on the value we have selected while certifying. And any ideas in solving these kind of scenarions.
Questions:
1-Is there a possibilty to block the field form the certification if they select as No on the field 1.
2- Is there a possibility in block that value adding into the field if the other field value is No.
Thankyou

Hi @Sagar Rd
Note: The Data Certification module is no longer supported and has reached end-of-life. So, if you've made any changes related to it, please keep this in mind.
Going forward, you should use CMDB Data Manager as the supported alternative.
Now, regarding your question — yes, I believe it's not possible, since this is more about core-level configuration (i.e., marking a field as certified or not or dependent).
This functionality is somewhat independent, and we can build a custom solution around it if needed.

If we have to start building the custom solution around this, would this still be possible to achieve the requirement and can you just give me brief of what the outline should be to achieve this.
Thankyou

Hi @Sagar Rd
I'm not 100% certain, but yes — if you want to build a custom solution, it's definitely possible. However, it would come with significant technical debt. Also, as I mentioned, the Data Certification module has been decommissioned, so I wouldn't recommend putting too much effort into it.
