Devices slow to respond to SNMP

Hello,
We have a few devices that outside of ServiceNow Discovery take over 2 hours to finish replying to a command line SNMP Walk. When trying to run discovery on them the default SNNP configuration fails to find any OIDs before the timeout. I've tried modifying SNMP Classify Probe Parameters and mid server SNMP timeout values both without success. 2 hours is unbelievably slow, but there isn't anything we can do about these devices and ideally we would like to discover them.
I've worked through this article - https://support.servicenow.com/kb?id=kb_article_view&sysparm_article=KB0720448 , and the device does reply, the credentials are correct, it is just very very slow.
