Duplicates of Hardware Model, what happens if i delete or De-activate

Hi every one, 

When you want to create a CI in the Product Model table. When you Click new, i have duplicates of Hardware Model. When you click on 'Edit Interceptor' you can see all the duplicates there as well and they all belong to the same Target URL. 
 Is there a way to find what records are associated to them or does that matter ? As one person wants to create a CI on Hardware Model and the some one choices a different Hardware Model to create a CI 

If i happened to De-activate or Delete the Hardware Model will this have an effect else where ?
