Hello,
What is the difference between Dynamic CI Groups and Principle Classes in CMDB? Are there use cases for each to help clarify the difference?
Thanks!

Dynamic CI Groups are used to group CIs together in different ways. Principle Class is there if you want a simpler way to limit the CI Classes that show up in the Configuration Item fields on Tasks.

Principal Class : Principal CI classes are essential classes used for creating various types of tasks. When the CMDB contains a large volume of data, focusing on these classes significantly aids in efficiently filtering records on the task forms.

Dynamic CI Groups: A Dynamic CI group is a dynamic grouping of configuration items (CIs), based on some common criteria. The Dynamic CI Group in practice is treated as a logical system of similar or related CIs that are typically the focus of a Technical Service Offering.
