Failed to identify the CI Type of the process listening on port 14502 on host

I am unable to fix the issue of Service Mapping. Where I am seeing lots of similar issue on different ips.

This is the different error No process detected on host, that is listening on port 14,502.

The IPs are getting updated while doing quick discovery but when running servicemaps it throws me below errors:

No process detected on host, that is listening on port 14,502.

Failed to identify the CI Type of the process listening on port 14,502 on host. Please review the discovery log for further details.

There are two points to address:

  1. Port Detection: The system detects that something is running on the port, but the process does not match any of the existing out-of-the-box (OOB) classes. In this case, you'll need to reach out to the service owner to identify the service running on the port. Once identified, try to map it to an OOB class if possible. If no match is found, you may need to create a new class.

  2. Port Mapping (6092): The mapping process is attempting to use port 6092, but there is no service found listening on that port on the destination CI. Please check the "Related Items" section on the CI, where you'll find port and connection details. You may need to review this information for further investigation.

Hi @Pratiksha

I am able to see the connection in TCP  connection where those ports are listening to on the server however, It is still showing me the failed to indetify CI or No process detected on host, that is listening on port 14,502.

did you get the solution for this issue, as I am also facing the same, it would be great if you can give some input.

@rohtomar which ci you are trying to connect here? Is it already in CMDB? Which pattern is getting executed here?
