Hi @kalyanasundaram ,
Go to System Definition >> Search Groups >> Create new one >> once you will create you will find related list "Text Search Table".
there you can set the table name cmdb_ci and save it.
i tried to search and it's showing. correct me if i did not understand your requirement.
If above doesn't helps, then you need to do ttext indexes for the table with a Text index record >All > System Definition > Text Indexes
A. Change the cmdb "text index" table state to "Ready"
- Log on to the affected instance
- As an admin navigate to "System Definition=> Text Indexes"
- Search for Table=cmdb
- Open the cmdb text index record
- Change the state to "Ready"
B. Then re-index cmdb table.
- On the opened cmdb text index record at above step 4, click on the "Regenerate Text Index" related link
- The system will ask for your email id, enter your email and click "OK"
- You will get an email notification when text index is completed
Note: It is recommended to perform the re-indexing during non-business hours to get the good quality indexes.

Instead of adding to the global search, you can also suggest an alternate solution of using CMDB intelligent search for the purpose of searching configuration item information. It can be quickly accessed by going to the 'CMDB workspace'. Here the 'CMDB intelligent search' can be easily seen at the top of the workspace. The search box can be used to query the CMDB using natural language. The quality of results can be fine tuned by doing some configurations for the modules under the 'NLQ'. But the OOB capabilities itself is good enough to provide a decent quality of search results from the CMDB using natural language.
