IRE error: Cannot have Lookup Rule for a Dependent Identity Rule on 'cmdb_ci_ip_address'

We get around 8,000 of these errors every day. How can we fix this?

The resolution described in IRE error messages  docs page says:

Remove lookup identifier entry from dependent CI Identifier for table [xyz].
