IRE Identifier Entries

I'm not sure if this is the right forum, but here's my question...

When a computer has been identified by the IRE, does the IRE log the 'identifier entry' used to identify the computer? If so, where is it logged?

However I'm looking for a solution we can ultimately deploy in Prod, and we can't use this approach in Prod.
