Is software removed from configuration items

Hello all,

We are using SAM Pro for our software.

If software no longer exists on a server, is it removed from the CI's form?
If it isn't removed, how do you know what software is still on that server and what software isn't?

I'm looking at the related links software installations tab.

Thanks in advance

Are you discovering the devices using ServiceNow discovery?

I am using ServiceNow discovery for the servers and SCCM for the computers.

Check this out : https://support.servicenow.com/kb?id=kb_article_view&sysparm_article=KB0859817

As part of your SCCM integration, it will remove any uninstalled software from your CMDB.   If you look at your SCCM Integration, it is the data source called "SCCM 2012 v2 Removed Software" or "SCCM 2012 v2 Removed Software (AI)" if you have Asset Intellagace turn on.

Once the SW Install is removed from your SW install table in the CMDB and the next time Reconciliation runs the Allocations available will be updated automatically.

Link to the Data SCCM Data sources doc:  https://docs.servicenow.com/bundle/newyork-platform-administration/page/integrate/cmdb/reference/how...

It is showing the process.
