I would like to add some groups of users in ServiceNow but just to keep these group's email added to CIs as they have to be notified if there is any change impacting the CI. It's not an ITIL group that will receive incidents or tickets, it's just for notification purposes.
For example, the group email of "Assigned To" user. I want to notify the group if "Assigned To" user leaves the company and the user becomes inactive. It's not a ticket, just an email notification.
What I don't know is if there is a cost associated to each Group created in ServiceNow even if the group is not ITIL.
Thank you

What is actually the question? If you would need to pay a license fee for sending notification to a group email?
The answer is no.
If you are asking whether members of the groups would need to pay a licensing fee, that is independent of your use case, and rather depends on the subscription model (with some subscription, you need to pay for every user account, with others, only after certain roles.

Thank you Laszlo, I'm afraid I published without writing the actual question. It's quite simple, do we pay per Group in ServiceNow? even if they are not ITIL.

No, you don't pay per group.
