Hi,
How do you personally manage your CIs when it comes to staleness? I'm dealing with an estate of circa 50k Stale CIs
Do you mark them as retired or delete them, also, what is the reasoning for your choice?
Does anyone know if deleting a CI actually deleted any association with incidents?
Thanks

First you need to know are these stale Ci not used anymore or some issue which is not updating these.
If its not used anymore, retire them. Deleting is not a good practice .

No incident gets deleted. The CI will be not available which was linked
Hope its helpful

Best practice is to retire the CI, because you want to keep the relation with the incidents, changes or other tasks as history.
But like Anshu mentioned, you need to know the why the CI isn't updating anymore.
Maybe there is another issue, like a broken integration.
