Mandatory field in CMDB

Hi Team

I want some fields to be mandatory while creating CI/Server, when we create a new Server we have lots of field in that i want to make some fields mandatory, can you suggest me on this

You can use the UI policy to make it mandatory which is low code /no code.

It is not recommended to define attributes as mandatory fields for CI data. CI attributes should rather be defined as recommended fields.
For manual input, UI policies can be used for support.

Ideally only 1 or 2 attributes which are typically unique and expected to be populated for all the records in a CI class should be kept as mandatory (or Required fields). E.g. Serial Number or Name for some CI classes.

You can keep more number of fields as 'Recommended fields'. This can be defined from CI class manager by going to the 'Health>Completeness' tab in each relevant CI class.
