Hello Genius Minds,

 

I want to learn CMDB, please tell what is the duration of this course and how soon can I learn? I am struggling to get a job a snow developer as I have experience in ITSM module only. Companies are asking experience in ITOM+CMDB.

 

Your suggestions would be highly appreciated.

Hi @ArpitG ,

 

It depends on you that you consider, but from experience, if you spend 3-4 hrs with full dedication it is good. Don't put much stress, as you are learning new terms and stuff. after 3- 4 hrs, spend 20-30 mins to just check your notes and done for day.

Enroll in ServiceNow’s official CMDB courses. They offer both self-paced and instructor-led training. The CMDB Fundamentals course is a good starting point and typically takes about 3 days to complete. Utilize the extensive documentation available on the ServiceNow website. To practice what you learn and experiment with CMDB configurations and integrations use personal Developer instance. More details and courses are available on YouTube also.

Things to do : 

 

CMDB fundamentals (micro certification will teach you a lot)

before jumping to discovery learn some networking basic.

Discovery fundamental course will teach you basics. Get an account in aws cloud it is free for a moth.
