Dear ServiceNow Experts, I have a question on MID Server sizing for Cloud Discovery please. I have gone through almost all the training and learning materials in ServiceNow and found difficult to spot an official documentation on how to do the MID server sizing for cloud discovery. What is the exact sizing we can arrive at when we consider the calculation by AWS accounts or Azure subscriptions?
Also how can we effectively manage the system performance of MID server ? Is appropriate sizing the only factor to consider or are there any other factors we should focus to increase the performance of MID server.

NowCreate has some guidance on MID Server Best Practices, there is some slides on determining number of MIDs and recommended specs. (https://nowlearning.servicenow.com/nowcreate?id=nc_asset&asset_id=559e2dd493b625505402393d6cba103a&n...)
- There is a MID Server Calculator as well

Hi Jon,
Thanks for your reply. That shows me the MID server best practices. We have the sizing calculator from ServiceNow for On premise discovery, however we do not have one for cloud discovery. Appreciate if there is one.

For Cloud Discovery, some of the Service Graph Connectors do not require a MID server. As of the time of writing this, I know the GCP and AWS Service Graph Connectors do not require a MID server.
