need help in CMDB CI class expansion

Hi 

Can anyone help me with the below requirement. I am completely new to CMDB and this is my first requirement in CMDB module. It would be great if any suggestions 

Discovery / IRE Rules Updates for CI Class Expansion- For Enterprise connectivity (EC) Devices.

As a Configuration Manager, I want Discovery and IRE rules to be reviewed and updated so that manually created CIs are included in automated discovery reconciliation, ensuring full population accuracy and reducing data drift for expanded CI classes.

Hi Chris,

Could you please let us know how to confirm that manual entry misclassifying network devices as Network Gear rather than Switches, Routers, etc.  

I have seen identifiers rules and don't see any miss configuration.
