Rapid7 integration with CMDB

Hello,

We are planning to do the Rapid7 integration with CMDB using service Graph connector. If anyone has done the integration, please confirm if the integration is uni-directional or bi-directional.

Regards,

Shaik basha.

The purpose of Service graph connectors is to ingest data into the CMDB. So ideally it has to be unidirectional.

Following is the URL of the store app for Rapid7 service graph connector. If you scroll down to the section named 'Supporting links and docs', you can find a pdf with details about this integration including how to configure it.

HI Mahaboob,

Did you every implement this. I am currently with a customer who wants to use this SGC too for Rapid7.

From the ServiceNow side of things it looks straight forward enough, just put the API key and the host and load the data. However, they have tried providing a few different API Keys and it keeps saying authentication error. Do you know if there is anything specific that needs to happen in Rapid7?

Many Thanks

Dan

I'm sure you resolved this, but for others interested, you have to use an org level API key.  I had the same issue.

Following this topic, as I'm having the same issue and I'm stuck in this integration.  Also, if SGC only gets data into CMDB, I may need both SGConnector + Integration, as I'm sending tags to Rapid7 from CMDB.
