Hi there,
I created completeness score card for Server and Network Gear, added 9-10 fields in the recommended section and 1 field in required section.
I don't know what is the issue, it is not updating on scorecard for completeness. Sometimes, it shows 85% and other time it shows failure threshold reached. I feel most of the time, it is not even updating properly.
what is the failure threshold reached? what is threshold here? how can I remove it?
I am new to ServiceNow
The first one is for server table cmdb_ci_server, there are almost 38970 records
second one is for cmdb_ci_netgear

Greetings,
The reason that the Completeness is not populating is due to a concept called failure threshold reached. This occurs when the number of failures (which a CI could have multiple failures) goes above and beyond a setting. You would not want to remove the threshold, but increase it to right size it. The same job runs for all classes, so it may not be that Network has failed specifically, but if other classes have required/recommended fields and the failures go beyond 50k, it would impact the scan of other CIs.
In your Application Navigator, go to Configuration > Health Preference.
- On the right side, select Health Metrics
- Change the Metric to Recommended
- Adjust the Failure Threshold
- Save the record
- Re-run the job for completeness
- Repeat for Required and other failures
