Show assigned CI's for user on incident form

Hi
I have a requirement to show a users assigned CI's on the incident form.
I can see this as a related list on the user record by adding the configuration item related list (see below)
What I want to happen is have access to this on the incident form as a button that opens in a pop up next to the caller field.
Just wondering whats the easiest way to achieve this?
