Stop class upgrade and downgrade

We have absorbed that discovery automatically upgrade and degrade the ci, not sure by what ground. We want to stop it. How can we fix this?

Yes that you can stop it by setting the IRE property.

I would suggest to read in detail about the CI reclassification concept and system properties from the following URL. Then take action accordingly only after analyzing factors like whether the reclassification happening in your environment is changing the CI to the correct CI type, whether it is causing any loss of data attributes etc.
