Hi all,
We noticed that in few CI records which got created from asset creation, the sub-category of the CI's was set to "Other" irrespective of the sub-category of the Asset. Majority of the CI, sub-category of the CI is matching with the Asset record and only a subset of the records, its not matching.
Upon investigation we found that, Category and Sub-category is populated in CMDB using a OOB BR and Its referring the table cmdb_categories for creating the Category & Sub-category.For cmdb_ci_computer table Category and Sub-category is set as End User Asset & Other respectively. But Sub-category Other is being set only for few records. Please share your inputs.
