Why am I getting number already in use error on a new PDI?

I have a new PDI and when I go to create a new application service, I get this error:

Why am I getting this right out the box? I know the error means that number is used and that number is used but why is it giving me a used number and how do I update it so that it doesn't keep doing that?

 

This is where we are:

I can create new, cancel until I get to the next number and then it should work from then on but

  1. Why is it doing this on a new PDI?
  2. What's another way to remedy this problem?

Hi @Robert Campbell 

I tried same in PDI and did not face issue. A fresh PDI only.

Might be try to repair the plugin with demo data will solve issue.
