Impact on modifying OOTB Field

Please help me If i am modifying any OOTB Field value or default value in servicenow after remodifying the field attributes & deleting number maintanence  for the field will that going to be impact in future?

Hi @ARAVINDA11 ,

Yes there will be an impact of loosing some OOTB features realted to that field. If you wish to revert back you can refer your PDI to revert the field back to its orginal configurations.

I won't recommend doing that but please check with your customer.

I don't see any impact for upgrade etc
