Hello everyone,
We're currently in the process of enhancing our CMDB and ensuring comprehensive coverage of our environment. One area where we've encountered significant internal discrepancies pertains to business applications. Could some individuals please share common examples of applications, as well as instances that should not be classified as applications? For instance, I understand that applications like ServiceNow, ServiceNow ITSM, and Salesforce are considered applications. However, are there any cases where something might be perceived as an application but should not be categorized as a business application? Some examples that seem ambiguous to me include Microsoft Outlook, Apache, and Cisco Prime wireless controller.
