Hi all. I am configuring our business services and offerings but need to display these fields as drop down lists instead of reference fields. The business service field data is also filtered (advanced reference qualifier) and dependent on a parent field called Portfolio. I have the filter and dependencies working correctly when business service and business offering are reference fields, but as soon as I try to change them to a drop down, the filtering no longer works and I see no options in either field.
Selecting an option from the Portfolio field filters the options in the Business Service field, which in turn filters the options in the Service Offering field.
Changing the Choice List Specification option on the Business Service and Service Offering dictionaries changes the fields to drop down lists as expected.
But now the Business Service and Service Offering fields don't display any data (with or without anything selected under the Portfolio field).
Any ideas on how to make these fields drop down lists while retaining the filtering?
Instead of using a reference field, it's possible to use "Lookup Select Box" to show as dropdown list.
Another alternative is to use List Collector with Variable attribute set to "glide_list". This will be shown as an locked icon in Catalog Item but will be displayed as a field when viewed in a portal (see below screenshot).
