Cannot create a PDI

I've completed the Admin Fundamentals training and am now trying to setup my PDI instance. I’ve logged into the PDI site, the instructions we have is to click the Request Instance button in the header but I don’t have that button. All I have is one option to click, Start Building, in the screenshot below.

If I click Start Building it takes me to a page that gives me no options to create or start an Instance. Can you help?

Hi @mleonard

Please cross check the URL in the snip.

  1. Then go to top Right of your name initial
  2. Then select Change User Role
  3.  Make sure it is admin
  4. Save the changes and now hit start building.

Hi Rohit,

Thanks for the reply. When I click on my initial this is what I get

mleonard_0-1741610633065.png

There's no option to change user, if I hover over User Role there's no option to select and change it. However if I click into View Profile I'm set as IT Admin

Hi @mleonard ,

Your instance status is "walking up". It will take some time to be available for you to use.

Once it is available you will be able to change the user role; which is "grayed out" as of now.

And below snip is actually a designation nothing to do with system privilege. However the above option to Change User Role is actually system privilege setting.
