unfortunately not, the whole infrastructure of ServiceNow is built on JavaScrip and some HTML, CSS, jelly and maybe some more, but no Python at all.
Understanding Python can allow you to learn or understand JavaScript better.
The benefit of ServiceNow is that it uses single language (JS) for both backend and frontend, if you do applications in different platforms you might need backend language and frontend langugae.
And also, ServiceNow gives more and more options to do lots of goodies without a single line of code (low code and no code approaches).
As said above, ServiceNow uses mainly javascript but only limited scope of the language. To get some idea you might review the

Yes, absolutely. But Python is not the primary development language inside ServiceNow.
If you're already a Python developer, you have a big advantage because concepts like variables, functions, conditions, loops, APIs, JSON, OOP, debugging, and databases will transfer easily.
For ServiceNow, focus on:
Python knowledge => JavaScript =>ServiceNow scripting =>GlideRecord =>Business Rules =>Client Scripts =>Script Includes =>GlideAjax =>Flow Designer =>REST integrations
So I would not abandon your Python skills but ServiceNow mainly uses JavaScript for scripting and development, especially for Client Scripts, Business Rules, Script Includes, GlideAjax, and other server/client-side customizations.
Since you already know Python, you don't need to start programming from zero. Focus on learning JavaScript fundamentals and then ServiceNow-specific APIs like GlideRecord, GlideForm, and GlideSystem. Your Python knowledge will still be valuable for external integrations, automation, and backend systems.
If your goal is specifically a ServiceNow Developer job, I'd prioritize JavaScript + ServiceNow over learning Python further.

The Certified System Administrator (CSA) certificate is initial stage , it's useful for almost for any servicenow role .

To become a job-ready ServiceNow Developer, focus on building strong fundamentals rather than trying to learn every ServiceNow module. Start with JavaScript then move to the official ServiceNow Developer Site and practice everything in a free PDI. Focus mainly on Client Scripts, GlideForm, Business Rules, GlideRecord, Script Includes, GlideAjax, ACLs, Catalog Items/MRVS, Flow Designer, REST APIs and integrations. Use the ServiceNow Community for real-world problems and examples. Most importantly, practice more than you watch—build small applications, solve real requirements, debug your own code, and gradually create 3–4 complete projects for your portfolio.
