Can you tell me what the tab "Catalog and knowledge categories" is used for in taxonomy? Especially the 3rd column "Available content for association". Thank you.

Hello Sheri,
The "Catalog and knowledge categories" tab in Taxonomy Management is used to map your Knowledge Base categories to specific Service Catalog items and categories. This connection is powerful because it allows you to surface highly relevant knowledge articles to users directly within the catalog item they are viewing or ordering.
What the 3rd column, "Available content for association", means:
This column shows you the number of knowledge articles that exist in a particular knowledge category but are not yet linked to the catalog item or category you are currently looking at.
In your screenshot, the numbers (0, 0, 0, 1, 47, 0...) mean:
0: There are no unlinked articles in that specific knowledge category.
1 or 47: There are 1 or 47 articles in that knowledge category that you could link to this catalog item but haven't yet.
In simple terms: It's a quick-view counter that helps you decide which knowledge categories have content you might want to associate. A high number (like 47) is a signal that there is a lot of potential content there you could link to make the user's self-service experience better.
How it's used:
You would use this tab to create those associations. By clicking into a row, you can select specific knowledge articles from the "available" pool and associate them. Once associated, those articles will appear as helpful links in the Service Catalog.
