Hi we have recently upgraded our Instance to Xanadu and while working on the Risk Assessment Form (sn_risk_advanced_risk_assessment_instance) we have observed while completing the assessment the worknotes and additional comments field are both visible to all users as they all have GRC related roles. Hence both additional comments and worknotes are visible to users. The Approver is not able to add worknotes but can add additional comments but the assessor is able to add work notes and additional comments both so wanted to know what is the use of the Worknotes field if its content is visible to all users anyways. How can we segregate the functionality of the two fields for this form?

I checked my PDI there is ACL related to work_note field.

I believe I also mentioned the same to check the field level READ ACL

Thanks @Di Zhang and @Ankur Bawiskar for the help - I got it the assessor role is required for the worknotes field and as the user is satisfying the role hence the fields are visible

please check the read ACL on that work notes field for your table.

Usually this is the main difference on those 2 fields

Work notes -> intended for internal communication among agents, fulfillers etc

Additional comments -> communication between fulfillers and end-users/requesters
