Hi
We already have companies set up in SN but we are starting to look at Customer Service Management and I am looking for a way to convert companies to accounts?
Most of the information appears to be shared but for companies that already exist there is no account number. How could we auto populate this field?
Regards

If account number is a field the companies table - core_company, and if you have any excel sheet, you can populate them at one instance. Please have a look in to - Use import sets and do transform from source excel to target company table
Thanks, Akash

Hello,
In practice, you can change the class on your companies to Accounts. You will then get an account number on the Record in the Accounts table.
But it may be advantageous to look at your architecture first, should the Account and Companies be stored separately.
And what implications could this contribute to your environment.
