Hi all,
Is there a way to add a new button to the popup modal for reference fields in the CSM/FSM configurable workspace?
The specific requirement is to be able to create a new contact and associate it to the case without navigating away from the case just like in the platform UI.
Navigation:
1. Open CSM/FSM configurable workspace
2. Create a new case
3. Click on the magnifier glass in the Contact field (Search for a record)
4. In the popup there is no New button to create a contact and on submit auto-populate on the case
I enabled the New UI action on the Contact table for workspaces and reference fields, but it only appears in the platform UI. Support says it's not available OOTB. Is this not supported or there is a way to create a custom New button?

Hi @favian1,
I opened a case with support, and they confirmed that it's not currently possible to accomplish. Please see response from support:
"I've verified with the Product Manager of the List team that owns this reference lookup that current behavior is by design and is unfortunately not customizable. Support for a new button there *is on our Roadmap but has not yet been prioritized for a specific release so this will come in the future release but this is yet to be prioritized , the best way to get attention over this requirement would be to raise an idea for this for our product team to review for future releases ."
