CSM portal search giving 404 error

Hi all,

For some reason, external customer when hit search on the search bar on front page they receive below 404 error:

They are able to logon fine to the portal, but only when they hit search on the front page,

- Checked knowledge base > (custom knowledge base) > has all customer contacts in the can read tab:

Any suggestions?

Hello, 

Have you verified that there are no roles that prevent the user from seeing the page?

Application navigator - Service Portal - Pages, locate the page the user is redirected to and verify that the user have the roles defined for the page.

Thanks for pointing this out, the sp_search page did not had snc_external role, i have added that and confirmed no error.
