How can I find a persons group assignment?

Needed to reassign a INC to someone I do not know, to do so I need the group they are part of to find them.

If you know someone on that team you can type their name in the Assigned to box. Then click on the magnifying glass next to the assignment group. This will show you all of the groups that the user is a part of. You can do this vice versa by choosing the assignment group to see the people under that team.

Youre able to se a Users groups on the User records related list. (Application navigator, User Administration - Users). 

You could also check membership directly in the Group Members table. Type : sys_user_grmember.list , in the filter navigator and then search for the user/group in the list.
