Form stuck on submitting after copying record producer

Hi,

I am working on an on-premise instance where I am currently making changes to a form in the portal. Previously, it was possible to create both an incident and a request from this form, but the customer wanted this split into two separate forms.

To achieve this, I first tried using "Insert and Stay" on the record producer, but since the variables were not carried over, I deleted the copy. I then tried using the copy functionality on the record producer, and this time, the variables and everything else were copied as well.

After doing this, I attempted to test the original form in the CSM portal, but when I click Submit, it gets stuck on "Submitting." To troubleshoot, I deleted as much as possible related to the copied version I created using the copy function, including the new variables, UI policies, and as much as possible of the form.

Now, I am stuck with a form that does not work and crashes the page when I try to submit it. I also tried creating an entirely new, independent catalog item and encountered the same issue.

Does anyone know what might be causing this or what could be stuck? Could it be database-related?

Best regards,
A newcomer to ServiceNow 🙂

Hi @Sandeep Rajput , thank you for the response.

The issue was resolved by performing a full restart of the instance. It appears that certain transactions needed to be completed, but this was only possible through a restart.

@Leif-JonasT Glad to know the issue resolved.
