How to mask an encrypted field

We have created an encrypted field and a role associated to it. There are 2 users, User1 and User2 . User1 is added the role, so he can see the field. But the requirement is User 2 should also see the field, but the value should be masked like (*******). How can we acheive this.

create a 2 way password field and show an ui action to user 1 to decrypt the field

Hi Luffy, I want to create this field on sys_user table, but its not allowing me to create a password type, i mean i dont get' password' as column type option. Please  suggest.
