Hi There,

Use Count in KB article in number of time the article has been attached to a Task.

and

KNOWLEDGE USE tab will give you details like

1.User has Used a particular article a

2. User has vied a particular article

for more details you can play around with knowledge management also refer servicenow docs

if this helps please mark correct and helpful response

Thank you. I have read the whole documentation in knowledge management and I still couldn’t find a specific answer regarding those two points. That’s why I posted my question. Thank you again for your help!

welcome! but i did check it both the scenario on my own . I checked attaching a KB article to a task also trying get KB Use details. I just want you to add count field and KB use tab to a form an just play around a little it will help

Hi,

I just wanted to say that while I can understand you have an "urgent" need to know this information, but we don't get paid to help others, we do it because we enjoy the product and enjoy helping others. Let's all just be grateful for the free assistance.

Anyways, I see you've had a few responses regarding this so I'll keep my response brief and won't try to reiterate what others have said.

This post here has a SN employee explain what some of the fields mean in regard to Knowledge and he does very quickly go over use count (which he is basically saying it doesn't do anything).

And so as far as how to get use out of this field...if that is your wish, you can use this thread as guidance on how to edit the script include to add in the functionality for this use count field to actually be...useful.
