"Configuring List Categories in the CSM/FSM Configurable Workspace: A Step-by-Step Guide"

The CSM/FSM Configurable Workspace, which stands for Customer Service Management / Field Service Management workspace, is a ServiceNow platform-provided pre-built workspace. It is built primarily for customer service and field service management activities.

 

Follow these steps to configure list categories in the CSM/FSM Configurable Workspace:

 

->Log in to ServiceNow as follows:

  ->Use your unique login credentials to access your ServiceNow instance.

 

->Navigate to the Configurable Workspace: Use the navigation menu's search functionality to discover alternatives    ->relating to "Workspace" or "Configurable Workspace," and then select the appropriate option.

 

->To be more specific, type "sys_ux_list_menu_config.LIST" in the left-hand navigation bar.

->Click on CSM/FSM Configurable Workspace List Menu Config 

 -> The application scope be in csm/fsm workspace foundation

->The list of categories can be seen in the image .

->If we want to edit the category case, we can do it by clicking on case.

->The list of child categories will seen in the image below. 

    When you click on a child category, a new page opens in which we can adjust the conditions as needed. 

->If you want to provide users with the ability to filter or search for specific categories, you can add filter options to the      list component. 

->Configure the layout of the list component, including the columns you want to display, sorting options, and any       additional customization. 

 ->Once you're satisfied with the configuration, save and publish your workspace

->After publishing, assign the workspace to specific users or roles so they can access the list of categories. 

 -> we can see the all list categories and child list categories on workspace.

Great post! This should help people as ServiceNow doesn't have good documentation regarding this or a lot of things that need to be configured for CSM Configurable workspace. I had to figure this out on my own when I was setting up Configurable workspace.
