Hello all,
In the CSM portal while I search with the first 3 characters of a catalog item, it will not find any result. When I add * after the 3 characters of a catalog item then i will find the result for the particular catalog item, but when i search for the other catalog item it will not give any result. I need to search catalog items with the first 3 characters in CSM portal.
Please find the below screenshot:

Hello @Sandeep Rajput and @Dr Atul G- LNG,
I have checked the document as you mentioned. But, it is not applied in my instance. If I search on the CSM portal with the first 3 characters of a catalog item, it will not find any result. Enable Ai search option is false for CSM portal in my instance. Do we need to be true for the search related issue.
Please find below screenshot:
Do you have any idea about the 'AI Search for Customer Portals'(sn_csm_aisp) plugin? Is this required for resolving this search related issue on the CSM portal?
Please let me know.
Thank you!

I think No AI plugin is required for this, but to assure, if you can install plugin in Dev instance and test and then share feedback.

Hello @Dr Atul G- LNG ,
Thank you for the response!
I have installed the 'AI Search for Customer Portals' plugin in my PDI. When I installed this plugin the Search application i.e 'CSM Portal Default Search Application' and CSM Portal Default Search Application i.e. 'CSM Portal Search' options are visible. But, when I make the ' Enable AI Search' button active true, it is not clickable. OOTB ACL is affected and this ACL editable only for maint role.
Please find the below screenshot:

ACL:
Please let me know if anyone has any idea regarding this.
Thank you!!
