Search can't lookup for the first 3 characters of a catalog item in CSM portal

Hello all,

In the CSM portal while I search with the first 3 characters of a catalog item, it will not find any result. When I add * after the 3 characters of a catalog item then i will find the result for the particular catalog item, but when i search for the other catalog item it will not give any result. I need to search catalog items with the first 3 characters in CSM portal.

Any help resolving this search issue would be greatly appreciated.

Are you trying on only in PDI or you have this issue in client env?

I have facing same issue issue in PDI and in client environment as well . I installed AI plugin in PDI and tried on it.

Better log a case to Now support for client instance.

Hello @Dr Atul G- LNG ,

I have installed the AI plugin in a client instance. Also, I have added the CSM related Search application, Search Results Configuration and made the Enable AI Search' button is active true. After that, I have an AI Search Assist widget and Typeahead Search makes it public. But, still I am not able to search catalog items with 3 characters.
