CWM Connected Work & Custom columns

In the FAQ post it's mentioned that enhancements are planned for connected work items - move on Kanban boards and display under 'My work' view.

Is it planned to enable custom columns to be displayed for the connected items? 

For example custom columns on Project Tasks, or custom information from custom objects (created from task table) via AppEngine. The idea is to create a single view for our clients where 5-10 activity types would be visible in one board for a team.

 

Also, is it planned to make the side-bar window's form configurable? I was looking to extend the form view (for user stories in this case) so there's less need to open the full details in a new window. I was expecting a new 'CWM Board', 'CWB Connected Work' or similar view to appear on the Stories once it was connected, but no luck there.
