A group should have the ability to edit the fields in catalog item RITM level

Hi,

I have a requirement where a group should have the ability to update the fields prior to approve the fields of a Catalog Item. How can I do it? Kindly help.

Hi Dave

On your sc_cat_item there will be variables. Each Variable has a role available to it. You can add a role here and it will enable the group that has this role to edit the variables. 

Be careful we don't allow this ourselves. Trying to keep track of this proved problematic so we disabled it by defaulting to admin role the variables
