Hello, It's Ken.

Is it possible to create a service portal-like application form in Incident with ESC?

Please let me know the module name of the navigation menu if we can create it.

Thanks,

Kentaro.

HI @Kentaro Numata ,
I trust you are doing great.

To create a service portal-like application form for incidents, we can follow these steps:

  1. Create a new catalog item in the Service Catalog module:

    • Go to Service Catalog > Catalog Definitions > Maintain Items.
    • Click on "New" to create a new catalog item.
    • Configure the item fields and form layout based on your requirements. This will define the application form for incidents.
  2. Configure the Incident module to display the catalog item:

    • Go to Incident > Form Layout > Configure > Related List.
    • Add the "Service Catalog" related list to the Incident form layout.
    • Configure the related list to display the catalog item created in the previous step.
  3. Customize the navigation menu for easy access:

    • Go to System Definition > Application Menus.
    • Identify the module or application where you want to add the navigation menu.
    • Edit the application menu and add a new module.
    • Provide a user-friendly name for the module, such as "Service Request."
    • Set the link to the catalog item URL or the Service Catalog module.
