Add additional approval group to normal change request

Hello,

I would like to learn how to modify the exiting Normal Change Request workflow by adding additional approval group.

Could someone please provide guidance on how to do it?  (See attached).

Open up the workflow in workflow editor

Checkout the workflow

Add another approval activity

Publish workflow

Hi @Radhika11,

As you have shared the workflow context screenshot and as per my understanding, it won't possible to update the approval group in workflow context.

You have to update assignment group for single change request or for all new records? if yes, then you have to checkout and then published the workflow and have to submit new Change requests. It will apply to all change requests.

We would like to set it up for all new records.  I have never create or modify workflow before.  

Could you please provide step by step for the following:

1. Make a backup copy of the original workflow so that I have someone to go back to if I screwed it up

2. How checkout and add a new approval group

3. How to published it.

Hi @Radhika11,

You can published the checkout workflow from the Hamburger icon/Workflow context menu.
