adding additional fiels to my requests on the ESC

Morning all,
I have been trying to work out how, using best practice, I can add assignment group and approver on the "My Requests" widget on the portal but I am not getting very far. I have tried using My request filter to add at least the assignment group in but it does not show on the portal.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Sorry, but got confused, why we need approver on portal? What exactly is your use case.

So the user can see who is approving the record. Happy to reject that requirement for the moment. the most pressing need is to add the assignment group on to the My tasks widget (will clone it first of course)

OOTB, if a user has assigned an approval, it will by default show that on ESC portal to that user. I am not sure what is need to show assignementr group on esc.

just for the user to see what group the ticket is assigned to. I don't see this as a big issue as a requirement.
Any ideas on how this is done? from anyone?
