Adding Splash screen to the service portal Homepage

Hi community,

i would like add the Splash image(or) logo after loading the portal before the home page displaying.

i have code everything ,but where to add the code is the Question???.

Please help me out in this.

how about putting the code in a widget on the index page or what your homepage is?
